Chisom Onubogu (EMBA) is an accomplished exploration executive and geoscientist with more than 20 years of international experience across Africa, Europe, and the Americas. As Exploration Manager, Northwest Africa Region at TotalEnergies, she leads exploration strategy, portfolio management, new ventures, and multi-country work programs across Mauritania, Senegal, the Joint Development Zone (JDZ), and São Tomé & Príncipe. Her expertise spans exploration, petrophysics, reservoir characterization, and integrated subsurface evaluation. Having held leadership roles with TotalEnergies, Equinor (formerly Statoil), and Norsk Hydro, she is recognized for delivering complex projects, building high-performing teams, and advancing strategic growth opportunities. Chisom holds an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology and is a passionate advocate for mentorship, diversity, and leadership development in the energy industry.
