The IMAGE 2026 Technical Program features more than 1,100 presentations across 165 oral and 115 poster sessions. The program is organized around two central themes — Geophysical and Geological Technology and E&P in Geographic Regions — spanning 6 geographic regions, 29 geophysical technology topics, 5 geological technology topics, and 11 integrated topics that bridge multiple disciplines. An additional 31 Special Sessions explore the intersection of geology and geophysics. Designed to bring scientists together across specialties, the format encourages attendees to engage with activity both within and beyond their primary technical discipline. Sessions run from 8:00 a.m. Tuesday through 4:50 p.m. Thursday.
