Call for Abstracts
Call for Abstracts Open – Submit by 15 March
The Technical Program Chairs, Bunmi Elebiju and Adam Goss, together with the Technical Program Committee, invite you to submit short or expanded abstracts for oral and poster presentations at the upcoming IMAGE 2026 meeting. This year's program is designed to foster stronger integration among geoscientists providing a collaborative forum to discuss, knowledge exchange, debate, and develop solutions in our industry's evolving challenges.
We welcome abstracts that emphasize integration, technological innovation, and application - highlighting disruptive technologies, cross-disciplinary teamwork, and forward-looking business solutions. Submissions that address region-specific basins and challenges, as well as key subsurface questions and the future of energy geoscience, are especially encouraged. Your abstract should unite global geoscientists driving discovery, exploration, and sustainable energy solutions.
Whether your work advances digitalization, AI, sustainability, or traditional science, join us at IMAGE 26 to connect with global experts, executives, and emerging leaders, and help shape the road ahead for our profession.
Deadline: 15 March at 5:00 p.m. Central Time.
Benefits of submitting abstracts for the 2026 program:
- Global platform for sharing your knowledge, research, and ideas with other thought leaders and technical experts
- Opportunities to collaborate and network with other presenters and conference attendees
- Promotion of your abstract and visibility of your findings to the brightest minds in geophysics
- Interaction with global experts, gaining feedback on current and future projects while also discovering the latest research results and advances in the geosciences sector
To submit an abstract, you must be a member of AAPG, SEG, SEPM or you need to be an invited speaker.
During the submission process, you will be required to select the Society or Societies you belong to and provide your membership number. If you are an invited speaker, you will receive a unique code from the committee member who invited you.
Please note that all membership or invitation codes will be verified after the submission period closes. It is essential to have current membership at the time of submission; submissions from those who are not current members will be rejected. Therefore, ensure that your membership is current and renewed before the call closes.
