Edith Miller

Dr. Edith Miller is a geoscientist at Chevron with 20 years of global experience in oil and gas, including the Permian Basin and offshore assets in the US, Australia, and Angola. Her background is in seismic processing, imaging, and acquisition technologies, and her current focus is on unconventional resource development. Based in Houston, TX, she leads a team of petrophysicists and geophysicists supporting Chevron's Shale & Tight assets across North America and Argentina.

A member of SEG, GSH, EAGE, and WTGS, Edith has served as SEG Director At Large, SEAM Treasurer, GSH Treasurer, SEG Chair of the Bylaws Committee and Continuing Education Committee, and is currently serving as IMAGE 2026 General Co-Chair. She received the 2016 SEG Life Membership Award.

Edith holds a Master’s in Applied Physics and a Ph.D. Cum Laude in Geophysics from Delft University of Technology.
