Ahmed Waguih

Ahmed Waguih is the Vice President of Digital & Integration for Americas Land, with over two decades of leadership in digital transformation, drilling operations, and integrated well construction. His global experience spans the U.S., U.K., and Saudi Arabia, where he has led teams, managed full P&L accountability, and driven innovation in offshore and land-based operations. Previously, he served as Business Line Director for Digital Drilling, overseeing operations and strategy, and Director of Integrated Well Construction, managing global projects. His expertise also includes roles in marketing and technology management in Houston and drilling operations leadership in Saudi Arabia, where he supported high-volume markets, unconventional plays, and mature field developments.

He also served as Asia Vice President for Integrated Drilling Services, as well as Operations Manager for Australia. He also held a number of management and technical positions within the Integrated Drilling Services of Schlumberger in Russia, France, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia.

Ahmed has led several projects during his various roles with the focus on using the latest technologies and Digital Solution to achieve lowest cost per foot/per barrel and delivering efficient solutions for our customers.

Ahmed obtained his Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2002 from the American University In Cairo and Masters degree in management for the Oil & Gas Industry in 2011 from Heriott-Watt University, Edinburgh.
