Amalia Olivera-Riley

Amalia Olivera Riley, PhD, is Executive Vice President of Capability Development at SCA with over 30 years of global industry experience. She has held leadership and executive roles with ExxonMobil, Repsol, and Tullow Oil, managing exploration joint ventures in more than 15 countries across Africa, North America, the Caribbean, and Latin America in deepwater, onshore, and unconventional environments.

Throughout her career, Amalia has led teams across Exploration, New Ventures, Global Quality Assurance, Technical Excellence, and Global Exploration. She has lived and worked in the United States, Argentina, Spain, and the United Kingdom. She holds a PhD in Geoscience from Purdue University and an MS in Geoscience from the University of Buenos Aires.
