Don Burdick is a geologist-turned-entrepreneur with 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He began his career at Marathon Oil and went on to hold a range of technical and leadership roles across various companies. He later founded and successfully sold two Private Equity-backed, Tulsa-based companies, Olifant Energy and Olifant Energy II. A long-time leader within AAPG, Don served as President of Division of Professional Affairs from 2021 to 2022. He is the Co-Founder and President of Tulsa IrishFest and the Founder of the Oklahoma-Ireland Business Conference, reflecting his passion for cultural and international exchange.
