Javier Peralta
Mr. Javier Peralta is a hydrogeophysicist at Ramboll with expertise in near-surface geophysics and groundwater resource management. He designs and executes land-based, marine, and airborne geophysical surveys and integrates the results into hydrogeological conceptual models to support sustainable groundwater development in the Western United States. Holding a master’s degree in Geophysics from Stanford University, his research contributed to refining nitrate mobilization models in almond orchards. Mr. Peralta's post graduate work continues to focus on enhancing subsurface characterization through geophysical data, especially electromagnetic methods, to offer strong geologic insights into various water resource projects. Additionally, he is dedicated to advancing equity in geosciences, serving as co-chair of the DEI Committee for the Groundwater Resources Association of California and working with experts to develop solutions to water resource challenges.
