Dr. Jeni Masi is the Chief Geoscientist at Geoex-MCG LLC, where she leads exploration efforts across the Americas—not only in oil and gas, but also in the emerging fields of natural hydrogen and carbon capture and storage (CCS). Originally from Venezuela, Jeni earned her Bachelor's degree in Geophysical Engineering from Simón Bolívar University before completing a Ph.D. in Earth Science—specializing in global seismology—at Rice University. Her career has spanned industry powerhouses like BP America and innovative firms like Osprey Petroleum, where she applied her expertise in geophysics to complex energy challenges. Now at Geoex-MCG, she combines deep scientific insight with strategic vision to guide exploration efforts across the continent. Outside the office, Jeni brings the same energy and precision to her personal life—whether she's dancing, training, experimenting in the kitchen, or spending quality time with her husband and daughters.
