Keshava Rangarajan


Keshava Rangarajan is a technology leader with more than three decades of experience in the software industry, from startups, mid-size enterprises to large technology corporations in multiple industry verticals including Oil and Gas. Currently, he is the Client-CTO for IBM focused on Oil, Gas and New Energies. Prior to IBM, he has been a platform architect in Chevron and was the CTO of Landmark and Chief Architect of Halliburton Digital Solutions with responsibilities in Architecture, Technology Innovation, Platform technologies, Community and Open Source. Prior to his foray into Oil and Gas, he was a Senior Architect at Oracle focused on Planning Applications and Analytics. Keshava has over 40 patents in areas covering analytics, optimization, search and semantics, real-time sense and response, deep learning, artificial intelligence, automation, online planning, dynamic pricing, drilling optimization , seismic processing, reservoir simulation, production, and more. He has published papers in multiple technical journals including the IEEE, the SPE and others. He has delivered keynotes as well as presented in many international conferences.
