Molly Turko

Dr. Molly Turko is a passionate structural geologist with over 15 years of industry experience. She received her M.Sc. in geology from the University of Tulsa followed by a Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma. She has worked for several independents, currently works full-time with Devon Energy, and regularly leads field trips for Applied Stratigraphix and local geological societies.

An active leader in the geoscience community, Molly serves on the board of the OKC Geological Society and holds key leadership roles across AAPG, including immediate Past President of the PSGD, past treasurer and current secretary of the Midcontinent Section, and Treasurer/Secretary of the DPA. She also contributes as an associate editor and writer for several leading geoscience publications. Additionally, she is the founder of GeoSwag.shop, an online store offering geology-themed apparel designed specifically for earth scientists.
