Shanna Chu is a seismologist at Fervo Energy where she works on induced seismicity monitoring and earthquake source studies. Prior to joining Fervo, she was previously a Pan postdoctoral fellow at Rice University and a Mendenhall fellow at the United States Geological Survey. Shanna has worked on source characterization and seismicity analysis for both induced and natural earthquakes, and is interested in earthquake source parameter estimation, especially from fiber optic data. She received her PhD in Geophysics from Stanford University and her BA in Physics from Princeton University.
