Yani is currently serving as Program Manager at Intertek Westport Technology Center, supporting the EOR, flow assurance and formation evaluation services. She has been involved in the oil and gas industry for 30 years, working for National Oil Companies in Venezuela (PDVSA) and Mexico (PEMEX), Research and Development Centers in Venezuela (Intevep) and Germany (Nanotechnology), and Services companies in Mexico (Halliburton) and USA (SGS). Yani holds a Post Doctorate (2021) in Fluid Mechanics at Johns Hopkins University, USA, a PhD degree (2014) in Physics and an BS degree (1987) in Physics from Universidad Central de Venezuela. Yani is author/coauthor of more than 70 publication in refereed scientific journal and conference proceeding. She is a member of The American Chemical Society and The Society of Petroleum Engineers.
