Zohreh Abbasi

Zohreh Abbasi is a Ph.D. candidate in Geophysics at the University of Memphis’s Center for Earthquake Research and Information (CERI). Her research focuses on near-surface geophysics, seismic site response, and ambient-noise tomography in the New Madrid Seismic Zone. As an international graduate student, she is particularly interested in applying her academic knowledge and hands-on experience to practical, real-world challenges.
