Ali Habtar
Ali Habtar is the Director of the Upstream Development Strategy & Reserves Department and has over 20 year of industry experience.
Mr. Habtar’s current responsibilities include; the development of long-term strategic plans that maximize the value of Saudi Aramco’s hydrocarbon resources, technical gate keeper for Saudi Aramco’s reserves, and in charge of Saudi Aramco’s subsurface Upstream carbon circularity initiatives.
In prior roles, Mr. Habtar lead Unconventional Reservoir Engineering and held other technical and leadership positions in Saudi Aramco.
Mr. Habtar holds a BS degree in Petroleum Engineering from Penn State University and an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona.
