Bill Langin is the Senior Vice President - Exploration West & Deepwater for Shell. Over his career, Bill has led teams spanning early growth and exploration, delivered major capital projects, and drove performance in day-to-day operations with positive direct P&L impacts. Bill has direct experience across the Americas, Africa, the Middle East, and Australia, and continuously strives to deliver outstanding results for Shell, partners, and stakeholders.

Bill grew up in northern Pennsylvania. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Geosciences from Princeton University and a PhD in Geophysics from Cornell University. Bill is married to Jennifer and they have two children, Tyler and Trace.
