Carrie J. Miller-DeBoer
A science communicator and educator for over 25 years, Dr. Miller-DeBoer earned degrees
in science education (PhD, University of Oklahoma), aquatic ecology (MS, Texas A&M
University), and oceanography (BS, Millersville University, PA). In 2024, she joined the OGS
to collaborate on CCUS workforce development and community engagement. Working
closely with OGS research teams, she connects people to the resources and expertise of
the OGS, including over 2K maps, reports, and data sets on the geology of Oklahoma.
Publicly available at no charge, these publications reveal Oklahoma’s rich and continuing
history of industrial mineral and energy production.
