Conn Wethington
Conn Wethington began his career as a geoscientist performing site characterization on the Kemper County energy facility, a CarbonSAFE II and III project, that is slated to be the first large scale saline CCS hub in the United States. He also contributed to the understanding of the Caney Shale Field Laboratory characterization study to better understand CCUS within unconventional resource plays. Conn currently serves as a carbon management specialist for the US Department of the Interior and investigates storage assurance, economic modeling, and stakeholder engagement. He is also known as the Zen Master of Carbon Sequestration.
