Rhonda Welch is a geoscientist and technical leader who is passionate about helping others reach their full potential. As Chevron’s Subsurface Talent Manager, Rhonda drives the technical and professional development of Chevron’s Earth Science and Petroleum Engineering community. She holds a Ph.D. in Geology from James Cook University and a B.S. and M.S. in Geological Sciences from VA Tech. Rhonda has a long history of working with organizations that support student/young professional development and diversity initiatives. She currently volunteers as a STEM coach at her local middle school in Houston, TX and serves on the Virginia Tech Geosciences Advisory Board.
