Ryan Jarvis is currently the Subsurface Data Strategy Advisor for ExxonMobil. He chairs the subsurface data leadership team responsible for the vision, strategy, and roadmap for subsurface data in the upstream used across both engineering and geoscience disciplines.
Ryan has worked in the energy industry for just over 19 years, the first half as a computational scientist, and the second half as a geoscientist and stratigrapher. He has worked frontier exploration and new opportunities for Brazil, South America, and the Gulf of Mexico. He also led ExxonMobil’s frontier research program and stewarded several research consortiums with universities across the globe.
