Over the past two decades, the oil and gas sector has added giant carbonate discoveries, giant and complex ultra deepwater turbidites, and basement reservoirs. Many of these challenge our technical and production capabilities. Additionally, recent giant discoveries have proven uneconomic due to difficult financial factors and reservoir complexities —in fluid and rocks.
