Applied Science Education Program (ASEP) for K-12
Thursday, 28 August | 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. | George R. Brown Convention Center, Room 332 and Exhibition Hall
The Applied Science Education Program (ASEP) introduces students from K-12 to the world of geosciences. Through fun activities, it delivers an educational experience in earth sciences and applied fields. Featuring an expert speaker in the field, high school students learn about career paths, emerging jobs, and have networking opportunities with exhibitors of the conference. Elementary and middle school students participate in hands-on activities connecting the science to common elements in their environment, adapting concepts and applications to their level of understanding.
