Workshop
W-9: Innovative Solutions in Quantitative Interpretation (QI): Bridging Challenges with Advanced Technologies
Friday, 29 August | 8:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. | George R. Brown Convention Center
Quantitative Interpretation (QI) is a powerful methodology that integrates seismic data with well log data and/or other geophysical methods to quantitatively analyze subsurface properties. Despite its potential, the complexity of QI’s implementation and the extraction of meaningful solutions pose significant challenges. This workshop aims to increase the adoption of QI capability within the broader geoscience community through presentations, discussions, and collaborative learning. Additionally, the workshop will highlight innovative approaches to QI, such as the integration of physics-based methods and generative deep learning in QI.
