The panel on agrogeophysics aims to discuss the role of geophysics in agriculture and how the use of technology such as drones, machine learning/artificial intelligence, and other tools help determine the infiltration of water, nutrients, and pesticides to address groundwater use and its impacts. Additionally, the panel will explore how geophysics can reduce the use of pesticides and enable the strategic placement of fertilizers. The discussion will also include best practices and state-of-the-art applications of geophysics in agriculture.
